Caring for your Studio Bramble˚ Furniture:

We use a hardening oil on all of our domestic hardwood furniture, including our kids blocks and cutting boards. It’s durable, repairable, food and child safe.

All of our wood products should be cleaned on a regular basis with a damp, clean cloth. Remove stains using a mild mixture of water and detergent. Avoid surface contact with sharp objects as these can leave scratches in the wood surface.

Hardwood Material Selection

We handpick, mill and finish each piece of hardwood destined to become a gorgeous piece of Studio Bramble˚ furniture. We’ve provided the choice of three high grade wood species that share similar qualities in durability though vary in their finish and aesthetic; Ash, Oak and Walnut.

Ash

Ash — with flat sawn ash we get wavy and irregular grain, ash has a bright and airy aesthetic and ranges in colour from light to medium brown.

Oak

Oak —using rift sawn white oak, we get honey brown tones, regular grain and minimal knots. Oak is a time-proven, highly durable material and full of character.

Walnut

Walnut — warm wavy grain gives tones of medium and dark chocolate brown. Walnut gives a feeling of luxury to our furniture and your home.

Colour Palette

Our colour palette is used for a variety of products including painted metal legs and solid wood. We use Ash as our first choice material for painted wood as it has a deeper grain that for us highlights the care and attention that has gone in to hand-making our furniture.
